Avery Nixon is the Opinion Editor of The Montclarion. Avery is a film and television major with a minor in creative writing. She has been with the Montclarion since September 2021 and became the Opinion editor in May 2022. She has also been involved in other campus media organizations such as being Vice President of Her Campus Montclair and a former social media ambassador for Montclair State University. Avery hopes to work in late-night television as a writer someday.
