Red Hawks Baseball Looking to Bounce Back From Last Season

Last year was one of the toughest seasons the Red Hawks baseball team has had in a while. The team had a record-breaking 14-game losing streak, one of the longest in the team’s history. The Red Hawks struggled with leadership and lacked experience all around due to the team being comprised of mostly underclassmen. Football Tames the Lions for Their Second Win of the Season

After what seemed like a rocky start to their season, the Montclair State University football team bounced back from their recent loss with a 10-7 win over The College of New Jersey Lions. The Lions scored a touchdown on the game’s first opening drive. The Red Hawks quickly responded with a 55-yard possession which led to sophomore kicker Anthony Marinelli’s 30-yard field goal kick. Graduation Edition: Men’s Baseball Team Leaves it to Underclassmen to Improve Future Performance

The Montclair State University Red Hawks baseball team finished their season on Sunday, April 28, against the William Paterson University Pioneers with a score of 6-4. During the game, freshman pitcher and infielder Donald Gonnelli hit a solo home run, which helped the Red Hawks’ chances of getting on the scoreboard. The Montclair State University baseball team’s losing streak continued as they lost to Rutgers University-Newark, making their record 10-16 last Thursday.
