Men’s Soccer Progress to Round Two of NCAA Tournament

Montclair State University won a tight game against Daniel Webster College in the first round of the NCAA men’s soccer tournament.

A late goal from Mike Olla broke a 2-2 tie, after DWC rallied from 2-0 down to tie the game.

Ian Hutchinson and Matheus Faria netted for Daniel Webster after a an early header from John Starner and a tap in from Aaron Rose put the Red Hawks up 2-0.

Montclair State had a hard time converting good chances on this cold Saturday night.

The Red Hawks will face reigning national champions Tufts University on Sunday night, after Tufts defeated Salisbury University in round one.
