In theme with the unofficial November ritual followed by many, the members of Alpha Phi Delta have decided to participate in “No Shave November” to raise funds for prostate cancer research.

According to the fraternity’s president Steve Fermin, the idea for the cause originated “because we are all fraternity men and we all know people who have been affected by prostate cancer.”

Even though the fundraiser sparked from the unspoken rule for individuals to remain unshaven during the month of November, Fermin said that the frat plans to continue raising money even after the month is over.
