Gov. Phil Murphy and Rep. Mikie Sherrill, along with others, spoke at the Bloomfield Public Library on Sept. 10 to rally against gun violence.
The politicians shared their personal stories and why they believe putting an end to gun violence matters, not only to them, but to the whole nation.
The crowd made their voices heard outside of the library, holding up signs and banners to take a stand against gun violence. The day ended with hugs, smiles and people proud of the future they are building.
