The Montclair State University Red Hawks and Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors met in the NJAC Championship for the second straight season on Nov. 7.

After a hard-fought game, it was Rutgers-Camden that came out on top when the contest was pushed to penalty kicks. Montclair State had an opportunity to secure the title following a missed penalty kick by Rutgers-Camden, but failed to bury the shot.

Montclair State will have to wait and see where they land in the NCAA Tournament picture, as they will now have to secure an at-large berth.
