Montclair State Volleyball earned the right to play in the NJAC Championship for the first time since 2009 with a 3-1 victory over Kean University in the NJAC Semifinals.
The Red Hawks were helped by multiple key players, including juniors Courtney and Kimberly Matlock, in the match which ended at 25-15, 25-22, 22-25, and 25-20.
The Hawks improved to 18-13 this season and will be on the road to face seven-time defending NJAC Champion Stockton University. The final will start at 2 p.m. on Nov. 7. Read the upcoming edition of The Montclarion for complete coverage of the NJAC Tournament.
