Montclair State University students, faculty and families all came together on Saturday, Oct. 10 to participate in the Out of the Darkness walk for suicide prevention. The walk served as a day to spread awareness and to remember each life lost to suicide. For Montclair State junior, Marissa Reilly, the walk served as a celebration. Reilly walked in remembrance of her friend Dan DiFabio, whom she lost to suicide nearly three years ago. “I think I’ve done my mourning,” said Reilly. “I feel like I’ve spent enough time mourning and now it’s time to celebrate his life.”
